Daniel Kent

 In 2003, when a senior citizen asked a Daniel Kent for help because the mobility-impaired neighbors at his independent living facility could not leave their apartments to learn how to access the internet and communicate with their grandchildren, an idea was born. Daniel Kent, while in middle school, launched the Net Literacy organization that has grown to receive national and presidential awards for connecting seniors and low-income students to technology - a feat well-deserving of the 2008 BBA.
